There has been some great football show in
Euro 2008 and now let's take a look at some of the memorable moments in the tournament.
Best Goal | Wesley Sneijder v Italy |

There has been a lack of quality long-range goals in the tournament, but Sneijder's beautifully struck half-volley after a flowing team move following a swift counter-attack in a 3-0 victory over Italy was the best in the tournament. |
Worst Miss | Mario Gómez v Austria |
 | Just four minutes into the match, misfiring striker Gómez presented with an open goal by team-mate Miroslav Klose, but from barely four yards out and with the goal at his mercy he spooned the ball into the air and Austrian defender György Garics was able to head it off the line. |
Best Save | Gianluigi Buffon v Romania |

With nine minutes to play, Italian defender Christian Panucci conceded a penalty that could have eliminated the Azzurri of the tournament. Romania captain Adrian Mutu stepped up and struck the ball firmly down the centre of the goal, but Buffon stuck out his right hand to make an instinctive save and keep his side in the competition. |
Worst Error | Petr Čech v Turkey |
 | Čech's error against the Turks was probably the worst of the tournament, as he spilled a harmless cross from Hamit Altintop and dropped the ball into the path of Nihat Kahveci to allow him to score the equaliser. |
Best Match | Turkey 3-2 Czech Republic |
 | Turkey trailed by two goals with just 15 minutes remaining, but after Arda Turan had cut the deficit Nihat Kahveci took advantage of a horrendous error from Petr Čech to level before curling a superb injury-time winner in off the crossbar to send Turkey into the qurter-final. |
Worst Match | France v Romania |
 | With both sides registering only one shot on target in the whole match, no doubt that the match between France and Romania was the most boring match of the tournament. |
Best Coach | Fatih Terim (Turkey) |
 | |
Biggest Disappointment | France |
 | How could a squad with the attacking talents of Thierry Henry, Franck Ribéry and Karim Benzema exit the tournament as the bottom of Group C with just a single goal to their name? But in fact, Les Bleus were vapid against Romania, they were then whipped by the Netherlands and took another defeat to Italy. |
Best Supporters | Netherlands |
 | Once again the Dutch fans lighted the tournament with their crazy orange-clad antics and unstinting commitment to wacky fancy-dress. The mayor of Berne was so impressed with the behaviour of the Dutch fans during their group-stage visit in the city.
