Barcelona and Ronaldinho have given themselves 72 hours to decide upon the Brazilian star's future after a meeting at the Nou Camp.

Ronaldinho was accompanied by his brother and agent Roberto de Assis as they returned from Brazil to hold talks with Barcelona officials.

AC Milan and Manchester City are two clubs competing for the player's services, with Chelsea have made a late charge to hijack the two-time FIFA World Player of the Year.

City have been keen on Dinho for several months and have submitted a club-record £25.5 million bid for the player.

However, Ronaldinho have repeatedly stated in the media that he will only leave Nou Camp for a switch to San Siro, as he is willing to take a pay cut for Milan.

Even so, the Citizens have refused to give up on the Barcelona playmaker with City owner Thaksin Shinawatra is reportedly willing to offer a weekly wage of £150,000 - three times what the Rossoneri are reported to have tabled. The bid was a last-ditch attempt by the Eastlands to hijack Milan's plan to take him to San Siro.

Meanwhile, The Sun revealed that Chelsea are preparing a ₤18 million bid for the 28-year-old.

Although their bid is lower than their Premier League rivals’, but Luiz Felipe Scolari’s presence at Stamford Bridge could well lure Dinho to west London, not to mention the promise of Champions League football and the chance of linking up with fellow Barça-departer Deco.
