Adriano considers to leave Inter

Thursday, October 30, 2008

Inter Milan striker Adriano could be frozen out of José Mourinho's first-team plans for a lengthy period and is reportedly considering moving back to Brazil, Channel4 reports.

Adriano has successfully turned his career around since his return from a loan spell with São Paulo.

But there are signs that he still has some of the reckless attitudes that destroyed his relationship with former boss Roberto Mancini.

Mourinho reportedly raged at Adriano for turning up to training in poor condition on Monday and arriving late on the next day.

As expected, the Portuguese tactician had axed L'Imperatore from his squad for yesterday's trip to Florence.

It has been reported that Adriano voiced the possibility of a return to his home country.

Mourinho has been reluctant to make any direct comment but he did issue a vague warning.

"Those who betray me have to go a long way to make amends," the Special One said.
