Inter Milan star Zlatan Ibrahimović was the biggest winner at the annual Calcio Oscars as he scooped three awards.

The Calcio Oscars were voted for by the players of Serie A in pre-season and were presented at a gala televised on SportItalia.

The big winner of the night was Swedish international Ibrahimović, who won the award for Best Goal, Best Foreign Player, and Best Player.

Juventus captain Alessandro Del Piero was honoured as Best Italian Player after leading Serie A with 21 goals, matching his best career output from 10 years earlier.

Fiorentina coach Cesare Prandelli won the coveted Best Coach award after guiding the Viola back into the Champions League with a fourth-place finish.

Gianluigi Buffon and Giorgio Chiellini of Juventus took the awards for Best Goalkeeper and Defender, respectively, while 21-year-old Napoli sensation Marek Hamšík won the award for Best Youngster.

Roberto Rosetti was honored as Best Referee, and former AC Milan player and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis victim Stefano Borgonovo, whose paralyzing illness has sadly confined him to a wheelchair, was named Fan Of The Year.
