Goran Pandev has confirmed his intention to leave Lazio this summer after club president Claudio Lotito failed to offer him a contract renewal.

The 25-year-old Macedonia international, whose current deal with the Roman outfit expires in 2011, has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich and Juventus in recent weeks.

"My cycle with Lazio is over," Pandev told Sky Italia. "I want to find other motivations and play for another team.

"I have spoken to Lotito and I have explained to him the situation.

"The president wasn't happy and doesn't believe that I wish to leave but I am finished with Lazio.

"I hope Lotito finds a solution that makes the club and me happy."

He added: "I have spent five beautiful years at Lazio, I have improved so much and I have always behaved well.

"In the last few months I have not been very focused. I thought my contract would be renewed but it wasn't.

"Now I have decided to leave."
