Dutch winger Royston Drenthe insists he has no plans of leaving Real Madrid before the start of the new season.
The 22-year-old has found playing opportunities somewhat hard to come by in the Spanish capital and is expected to be only a peripheral figure in Manuel Pellegrini's first-team squad this season.
However, Drenthe has plans to prove himself at the Bernabéu.
"I am in form and I will stay at Real," Drenthe told Algemeen Dagblad. "The coach spoke with me and gave me trust.
"He has used me in three different positions on the left, which shows that there are more options for me. I will fight to play.
"I have been working on my fitness while I've been on holiday to prove to everyone what I am worth."
