AS Roma bounced back from their midweek European defeat with a thumping 3-1 victory over Fiorentina at Stadio Olimpico.
Captain Francesco Totti gave Roma the lead from the penalty spot in the 27th minute before adding his second six minutes later.
Totti then provided the assist for Daniele De Rossi to make it 3-0 before half-time.
With six minutes remaining, Alberto Gilardino scored a consolation goal for the visitors, his second of the season.
