In-form AC Milan climbed up to third in Serie A with a 2-1 success over struggling Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico.
The visitors were in front on 21 minutes when Thiago Silva headed in from Andrea Pirlo's free kick and Alexandre Pato doubled the lead on 35 minutes when meeting Ronaldinho's cross.
Lazio reduced the arrears in the 64th minute when Thiago put through his own net on 64 minutes, but Milan held on to claim all three points.
