Manchester United sealed their passage from Group B of the Champions League after a 3-3 draw at home against CSKA Moscow.

CSKA were lively from the start and took the lead on 25 minutes through the impressive Alan Dzagoev's thumping finish.

Just moments later United leveled as Antonio Valencia's cross was flicked on by Nani and Michael Owen turned and fired home for his first goal in the Champions League for five years.

The goal looked as though it would count for nothing as CSKA stormed into a 3-1 lead courtesy of Miloš Krasić's 31st-minute strike and Vasili Berezutski's diving header just after the restart.

But an 84th-minute header from Paul Scholes gave them new hope and Valencia's stoppage-time shot took a wicked deflection to make it all square.
