Napoli missed the chance to break into the Champions League places as they were held to a 0-0 draw at home to Palermo.

Palermo were given a helping hand when the referee pointed to the spot after Leandro Rinaudo had brought down Edison Cavani inside the area, but Morgan De Sanctis fully stretched to clear Fabrizio Miccoli's 22nd minute spot-kick.
