Cristiano Ronaldo scored both goals before being sent off as Real Madrid defeated Málaga 2-0 at the Bernabéu.
Ronaldo ended a three game scoring drought in the 35th minute when Karim Benzema played the ball to Kaká, who crossed to the Portuguese winger to slot the ball home from close range.
The world's most expensive footballer then scored his ninth goal of the season four minutes later with an unstoppable dipping shot that flew into the top corner.
But Ronaldo's temper got the better of him 20 minutes from time as he was shown a straight red card for elbowing Patrick Mtiliga in the face.
