Atlético Madrid claimed a 2-1 victory over La Liga leaders Barcelona to inflict a first league defeat of the season on the reigning champions.
The home side opened the scoring through Diego Forlán after just eight minutes before Simão added a second with a wonderful free-kick in the 23rd minute.
Zlatan Ibrahimović halved the deficit within four minutes but Barcelona could not find an equaliser and they waved goodbye to their unbeaten record.
