Ex-Manchester United forward Diego Forlán grabbed an early goal to give Atlético Madrid a 1-0 advantage over Liverpool in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final at the Vicente Calderón.
In the ninth minute, Forlán misheaded José Manuel Jurado's cross from the left before managing to tap the ball in from close range.
