Serie A: Cesena 1-4 Napoli

Monday, September 27, 2010

Napoli came from a goal down to pick up their second consecutive away win in style with a 4-1 triumph at newly-promoted Cesena.

Marco Parolo put the hosts in front in the 48th minute but Napoli got back on level terms on 72 minutes through Ezequiel Lavezzi.

The visitors were then gifted the lead in the 80th minute when Marek Hamšík made no mistake from the spot after the referee wrongly awarded the penalty when Maurizio Lauro tugged back Juan Zúñiga outside the area.

Cesena pushed forwards for an equaliser and substitute Edinson Cavani took full advantage of the gaps that opened up with goals in the 88th and 91st minutes to seal the win.
