Inter Milan refuses to rule out Kaká interest

Saturday, September 18, 2010

Inter Milan director Marco Tronchetti Provera has given the strongest hint yet that the club are considering signing Real Madrid star Kaká.

There has been great speculation in recent weeks that Inter will make a bid for the Brazilian international, partly to spite AC Milan, his former club.

Although Massimo Moratti denied he had already made an approach, a move for Kaká would be the perfect response to Milan's Zlatan Ibrahimović transfer.

Milan have made a habit of signing players who once had talismanic status at the Nerazzurri like Ronaldo, Christian Vieri and Ibrahimović.

"I would like to see Kaká play for Inter," Tronchetti Provera told Sky Italia.

"We have seen the real Kaká play with the red and black shirt, and I would like to see him wear the blue and black one.

"It's not a problem if we didn't sign anyone in the summer, but a useful player can always arrive."
