Juventus remain six points behind leaders Serie A leaders AC Milan after being held to a 1-1 stalemate at home to Fiorentina.
The visitors were gifted the lead after just four minutes when Juan Vargas' powerful cross took a deflection off Marco Motta to divert inside Marco Storari's near post.
But Simone Pepe levelled for Juventus eight minutes from the end as he curled in a free-kick from an acute angle.
Felipe was sent off late on for Fiorentina, but they held on for a point.
