Napoli returned to second place in the Serie A table above AS Roma thanks to a 2-0 victory at 10-man Bari.
Ezequiel Lavezzi broke the deadlock on 38 minutes when he diverted in Edinson Cavani's free-kick and things went from bad to worse for Bari as Alessandro Parisi was sent off in the 67th minute following two bookable offences.
And Cavani wrapped up the win with three minutes remaining when the Uruguayan forward tapped in a Lavezzi cross from two yards.
