Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi starred in the ugliest scene of last night's El Clásico against Real Madrid at the Bernabéu.

The Argentine, with no necessary reason, kicked the ball hard from close range into the home fans crowd.

Real defender Pepe enraged and berated him, but referee César Muñiz Fernández felt that Messi's action was not an unsportsmanlike conduct and only gave him a warning.
