Serie A: AC Milan 1-0 Bologna

Monday, May 2, 2011

AC Milan moved within one point of winning their first Scudetto since 2004 after a narrow 1-0 win over Bologna at the San Siro.

French midfielder Mathieu Flamini scored the only goal of the game after just eight minutes when he took a pass from Robinho and dribbled past two defenders before finding the target from his own rebound.

The visitors ended the game with 10 men as Francesco Della Rocca was harshly given his marching orders eight minutes from time for a foul on Alessandro Nesta.
