Stoke City jumped up eighth place in the Premier League after a 3-1 home success over lacklustre Arsenal.
Kenwyne Jones fired Stoke ahead in the 28th minute before former Gunner Jermaine Pennant doubled the lead five minutes before the interval when his 20-yard drive deflected off Johan Djourou and into the top corner.
Robin van Persie pulled one back for Arsenal with less than 10 minutes remaining only for Jon Walters to go straight down the other end and make it 3-1.
