Cristiano Ronaldo matched the Spanish top-flight single-season goalscoring record with a brace in Real Madrid's 3-1 win at Villarreal.
Marcelo opened the scoring for Los Blancos after 17 minutes and Ronaldo doubled the lead with a free-kick from the edge of the area five minutes later.
The home side pulled a goal back through Cani in the 50th minute before Ronaldo fired in a free-kick three minutes into stoppage time to take his tally to 38 for the season.
