Edinson Cavani struck a hat-trick to help Napoli come from a goal down to claim a 3-1 win against defending champions AC Milan on home soil.
Summer signing Alberto Aquilani headed the visitors ahead after 12 minutes, but Cavani equalised less than 60 seconds later with an angled shot from the edge of the area.
Cavani made it 2-1 on 36 minutes following a good work from fellow Uruguayan Walter Gargano before he completed his treble with a vicious strike in the 51st minute.
