Antonio Nocerino scored a hat trick to help AC Milan move to within two points of the summit after thrashing Parma 4-1 at the San Siro.
Nocerino scored twice in the space of two first-half minutes to put Milan in control before Zlatan Ibrahimović added the third on 73 minutes.
Sebastian Giovinco bagged a consolation strike for Parma on 78 minutes before Nocerino completed his hat-trick with a header in the last minute.
