We may well have already seen the goal of the season for 2011/2012 and it came from the Bundesliga where Bayer Leverkusen downed VfL Wolfsburg 3-1.

It was 1-1 on 65 minutes when a long ball came over the top from Hanno Balitsch.

Eren Derdiyok, on the edge of the box, took one touch with his left, flicked it up with his right past a defender and then swivelled and cracked in a glorious overhead kick.
