Champions League: Bayern Munich 2-0 (agg 4-0) Marseille | inside World Soccer

Ivica Olić scored both goals in the first half to give Bayern Munich a 2-0 win over Olympique Marseille in the Champions League quarter-finals at the Allianz Arena.

Having won the first leg 2-0 in France, Bayern all but secured their progression when Olić struck in the 13th minute after former Marseille player Franck Ribéry set the Croatian up for an easy tap in.

And Bayern effectively sealed the tie after 37 minutes as Ribéry and David Alaba launched a length-of-the-field counter-attack that ended with the latter crossing for Olić to convert.
