Serie A: AC Milan 2-0 Atalanta

Thursday, May 3, 2012

A goal in each half from Sulley Muntari and Robinho earned AC Milan a comfortable 2-0 victory over Atalanta at the San Siro.

Milan broke the deadlock on nine minutes when Kevin-Prince Boateng lofted a pass from the edge of the area for Muntari, who sprang the visitors' offside trap to slide in for a controlled finish at the back post.

And the second goal that Milan's performance merited finally arrived two minutes into time added on when Andrea Consigli saved from Zlatan Ibrahimović and Robinho was on hand to net with a close-range diving.
