Anton Ferdinand's decision to snub John Terry and Ashley Cole overshadowed Queens Park Rangers' 0-0 draw with London rivals Chelsea on Saturday.

All the build-up before the Premier League game at Loftus Road focused on the meeting between the trio.

In the corresponding fixture last season, Ferdinand accused Terry of racial abuse, which led to a court case in which the latter was cleared and Cole had acted as a character witness for his teammate.

The Blues captain is still facing a Football Association charge relating to the same case, and feelings continue to run high.

As the teams lined up for the handshakes, Ferdinand gave emphatic shakes to everyone in the Chelsea line except Terry and Cole, much to the delight of the home fans.

QPR fans, too, made their feelings about the pair crystal clear. Along with the usual abuse of Terry, came chants of, "John Terry, we know what you said", and, "Ashley Cole, you're John Terry's bitch".

This wasn't the first time someone refused to shake Terry's hand.

Wayne Bridge snubbed him following allegations of an affair with the defender's former girlfriend Vanessa Perroncel.
