Radamel Falcao grabbed a first-half hat-trick to help Atlético Madrid to a comfortable 4-1 victory over Chelsea in Monaco and claim the European Super Cup.
The Colombian hitman broke the deadlock after six minutes and he doubled the advantage with a left-footed curling finish that left Petr Čech with no chance.
Falcao completed a well-deserved hat-trick moments before the interval and Miranda completed the scoring for Atlético just after the hour mark.
Chelsea dominated the possession but produced little of note, until defender Gary Cahill grabbed a consolation goal 15 minutes from time.
