Melbourne Heart goalkeeper Clint Bolton brought back memories of Massimo Taibi when his sloppy keeping led to the Central Coast Mariners first goal.

The Mariners continued their stunning start to the A-League season with a 2-0 win over an outclassed Melbourne Heart at Bluetongue Stadium.

But it was a night to forget for 37-year-old Bolton, who will be the first to put up his hand for a horrendous mistake that led to the Mariners's first goal in the 49th minute.

Pedj Bojić made a run deep into the Heart half before coming up with a fairly tame shot from about 20 yard that would have normally been no problem for a keeper of Bolton's class and experience.

However, much to his embarrassment the ball slipped through his hands before trickling over the line.

And here is Taibi's most famous howler during a Manchester United game against Southampton.
