Sunday's Clássico between Benfica and FC Porto produced four goals in the opening seventeen minutes and the effort from Nemanja Matić in particular was a stunner.

Porto took an 8th-minute lead in the game at the Estádio da Luz through Eliaquim Mangala before Benfica hit back with a stunning strike just over a minute later.

Lorenzo Melgarejo received a short corner and produced a superb left footed cross into the Porto box.

His compatriot Óscar Cardozo teed up Jardel, who in turn nodded the ball back for Matić with the Serbian arrowing an acrobatic volley beyond Helton and into the net.

The visitors retook the lead through Jackson Martínez on 15 minutes but a hectic start continued as Nicolás Gaitán equalised again two minutes later.

That was the end of the scoring, however, as both sides maintained their unbeaten start.
