Johnny Dos Santos of Independente Limeira wasn't too chuffed with the referee after a narrow 1-0 defeat to MarÃlia on Sunday.
The 25-year-old was angry at the addition of only four minutes injury time as his side pushed for a stoppage time equaliser.
As soon as the official blew whistle for full time, Dos Santos jogged over to the victim and launched himself at the poor referee in frankly disgraceful fashion.
The referee only suffered a deep cut to his shoulder and arm, while a hefty ban is probably headed towards Dos Santos.
