Scottish Premier League club Heart of Midlothian, who were placed into administration last month, have been advertised for sale on BusinessesForSale.com
Founded in 1874, Hearts are one of Scotland's oldest clubs and have won the Scottish league title four times.
But the club were forced into administration last month due to debts of £25 million - owed to companies formerly owned by the club's owner Vladimir Romanov.
BDO, who are in charge of the administration process, had set a deadline of 12 July 2013 to lodge bids for the Edinburgh-based outfit.
And with time running out, BDO have taken a drastic step in an effort to find an owner for the club by listing them on the business for sale website, BusinessesForSale.com.
