AS Roma let fans vote third jersey

Serie A club AS Roma are giving their fans the chance to pick the their third jersey, to be worn during the second part of next season.

Registered Giallorossi fans of the club can vote between three design choices starting on August 5, and ending on September 1, at www.asroma.it, www.asromastore.it, and at asromastores.

"Creating opportunities for interaction with our fans is a top priority," Chief Executive Italo Zanzi told the club's website.

"We are very pleased to offer our dedicated supporters the opportunity to vote on our third jersey for this season and we look forward to receiving their input.

Commercial Director Christoph Winterling added: "We are very proud and happy to give our fans the chance to vote for their favorite shirt.

"After listening to the fans' suggestions in creating the first and second game jersey, this time our most faithful fans will be the ones to choose the team's third jersey.

"All proposals are based on uniforms worn in the past by great AS Roma legends."

Last year, MLS side the LA Galaxy allowed fans to both design and vote for the club's third kit for the 2013 and 2014 seasons.
