The Reds took the lead in superb circumstances after 25 minutes.

There seemed to be little sign of danger when Morgan picked up the ball on the half way line.

The 19-year-old saw City goalkeeper Ian Lawlor was positioned just behind the penalty spot and flighted a stunning left-footed hit.

Lawlor fell back in desperation, as the ball clipped the inside of his crossbar and fell over the line.

Cameron Brannagan then wrapped up the victory in the 71st minute with a composed finish.
