Here's Sir Alex Ferguson handwritten portrait using names of Man United players he managed

A British artist has produced a handwritten portrait of Sir Alex Ferguson, which contains the name of every single player who played under the Scot at Manchester United during his 26-year reign.

The portrait, named "Fergie", features the names of 218 United players who represented the club between November 1986 and May 2013.

The artwork's creator Annemarie Wright told Metro: "I was inspired to do this because my dad is a huge Manchester United fan, so I have been brought up with the Red Devils.

"The piece took three weeks to complete and is all in my own handwriting."
