The Spaniard left England with his reputation severely tarnished after he was sacked by Tottenham Hotspur following the worst start to a season in the club's history.

However, Real came calling in January and he has turned the team around with the Spanish champions are now clear in second place in La Liga.

His contract, though, expires at the end of the season, and reports suggest Los Merengues want to bring in Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger as their permanent manager this summer.

Ramos is now considering what to do next and, although he would like to stay at the Bernabéu, he would also consider a move back to England.

He told The Mirror: "My priority is with Real Madrid, but I would also like to have a clear idea about my future.

"Just because I left Tottenham, that does not mean I cannot return to the Premier League.

"That league still holds many challenges for me."
