Júlio César pens new Inter Milan deal

Friday, November 13, 2009

Brazilian goalkeeper Júlio César has signed a new deal with Inter Milan, which will tie him to the club until 2014.

The 30-year-old has penned a three-and-a-half-year extension to his current deal after finalising terms with Inter vice-president Rinado Ghelfi and technical director Marco Branca.

"I want to celebrate this with many more victories at Inter," César told the club's official website.

"I am very happy and thank the club president Massimo Moratti and the whole club.

"With Inter I have already won so much but our strength is that we continue to work hard to reach new goals."

César has made over 150 appearances in all competitions since joining Inter in 2005 and has enjoyed considerable success with the Nerazzurri, winning four Scudetti and the 2006 Coppa Italia.
