An anonymous Norwegian player has become a YouTube sensation after scoring a goal that was reminiscent of Diego Maradona's goal against England in the 1986 World Cup.
Mjøndalens captain Mads Hansen scored the stunning goal against Hønefoss in the last match of the Norwegian Adeccoligaen.
Hansen received the ball from his goalkeeper just outside the area and began to sprint toward the opposing goal, evading six opponents before shooting the ball into the net.
The goal proved to be crucial for Mjøndalen as they won the match 2-1 and stayed in the Norwegian second-flight division.
