Manchester United booked their place in the Carling Cup final after a dramatic 3-2 victory over bitter rivals Manchester City at Old Trafford.
Goals from Paul Scholes and Michael Carrick put United 3-2 ahead on aggregate, but former Red Devils forward Carlos Tévez looked to have forced extra-time with a 76th-minute reply.
However, Wayne Rooney popped up in the second minute of injury time to set up a clash with Aston Villa at Wembley on 28th February.
