Sevilla came from behind to earn a 2-0 victory over Real Mallorca in what was an incident-packed game at ONO Estadi.
The home side took the lead in just the fifth minute through Mario Suarez, but Sevilla hit back in the 23rd minute when Jesús Navas capitalised on a misjudgement from Mallorca keeper Dudu Aouate.
Both sides were then reduced to 10 men, with Álvaro Negredo and Iván Ramis receiving their marching orders, before Sevilla took control after half-time with those goals from Ivica Dragutinović and substitute Diego Perotti.
Sevilla also had Zokora dismissed late on for a second yellow card for comments he made to the linesman, but it was too little too late for Mallorca.
