José Manuel Jurado struck a late winner to earn 10-man Atlético Madrid a 1-0 victory over mid-table rivals Osasuna.
Atlético looked in danger of yet another disappointing result at the hands of Osasuna when Simão was sent off for a second bookable offence in the 57th minute.
However, Jurado's moment of magic 11 minutes from time broke the deadlock and put Atlético on course for the victory.
