Greek club Olympiakos announced on Friday that they have completed the signing of Liverpool outcast Albert Riera on a four-year contract.
Reports claim the Spaniard, who fell out of favour at Anfield after a bust-up with then-manager Rafa Benítez, cost the Greek side £3.3 million.
Riera arrived at Anfield from Espanyol in September 2008 for a fee of £8 million but failed to impress regularly, scoring just five goals in 56 appearances.
"Olympiakos announce the acquisition of Liverpool's Spanish international Albert Riera. The player has signed a four-year agreement," read an Olympiakos statement.
