Juventus have agreed to loan Portuguese midfielder Tiago Mendes to Atlético Madrid for another season.
The 29-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at the Vicente Calderón, impressing under coach Quique Sánchez Flores and making 18 appearances in La Liga while scoring twice.
"Atlético Madrid was my only option and, finally, I have achieved it," Tiago told Marca at Barajas airport in Madrid.
"There has been a long delay but I arrive with lots of desire to start my pre-season."
