Chelsea target Neymar set to quit Santos for Juventus

Thursday, November 18, 2010

Chelsea target Neymar admits he could leave Santos in January, and that his preferred destination would be Italy with Juventus.

The 18-year-old forward claims he has been approached by Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Juventus and Inter Milan.

However, Neymar, who scored on his Brazil debut earlier this year, claims he would turn down all other interest for a move to the Bianconeri.

Neymar told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "There are five big clubs interested in me - Juventus, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Inter Milan.

"The proposal that I like most is that from Juventus. They have great worldwide appeal. I have no problem in saying that I would most like to put on the black and white jersey.

"Inter have prestige and it is the team where Ronaldo, one of my idols, played, but I hope no-one is offended as my first choice is Juventus."

He added: "The club's officials have said that I'm not for sale, but I don't think the same.

"This may be the right time to try the European adventure."
