Is this boy the world's best footie mascot?

Tuesday, November 2, 2010

This cheeky mascot is Newcastle United's best performer during Sunday's 5-1 demolition of Sunderland in the Tyne-Wear derby despite Kevin Nolan scored his first career hat-trick.

Eight-year old Jack McBride revved-up the crowd before the North-East showdown at St James's Park by blowing kisses to the TV cameras as he led Nolan out of the tunnel.

Clearly loving the attention, the Magpies fanatic then proceeded to slot a nerveless penalty kick before lifting his shirt over his head in wild celebration.

He finished by gesturing to the Newcastle faithful with a heart hand signal.
