Liverpool's four-match winning run came to a halt at the DW Stadium where Wigan Athletic fought back to claim a deserved a 1-1 draw.
The Reds took the lead on seven minutes when Steven Gerrard beautifully picked out revived striker Fernando Torres, who outpaced Gary Caldwell and fire across Ali Al-Habsi into the far corner.
Wigan levelled seven minutes into the second half when Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina could only palm Ronnie Stam's low cross into Hugo Rodallega's path and the Colombian gratefully fired home left-footed.
