Manchester City continued their impressive start to the season with an entertaining 3-2 victory over Bolton Wanderers at the Reebok Stadium.
In an enthralling contest, David Silva benefited from Jussi Jääskeläinen's goalkeeping error in the 26th minute to give City the lead before Gareth Barry doubled the lead on 37 minutes with a stunning strike from 30 yards.
Ivan Klasnić immediately responded to give Bolton hope, but Edin Džeko's early second-half strike restored City's two-goal cushion.
Owen Coyle's men kept fighting and Kevin Davies headed them back into the game just after the hour mark, but they couldn't pull off a further comeback.
