Goal of the day: Samba Diakité (Nancy) vs Auxerre

Samba Diakité's equaliser for Nancy in their 2-1 defeat to Auxerre in Tuesday's Coupe de la Ligue game was a brilliant run from deep culminating in an emphatic finish.

Nancy midfielder Diakité ran 70 yards and beat five Auxerre defenders before playing a one-two with Lossémy Karaboué and finishing to level the match.

The match did though end on a sour note as he was sent off and Nancy dumped out the cup competition.
