Arsenal and Chelsea played out a 0-0 draw in a lacklustre affair at the Emirates Stadium to keep the race for a top-four finish in the Premier League delicately poised.
The home side came closest to breaking the deadlock but were twice denied by the woodwork when they did manage to carve open an organised Blues defense.
Chelsea threatened on the counter-attack but a disappointing contest never really came to life and neither side showed enough spark to deserve all three points.
