A stunning volley from Karim Benzema was the highlight of Real Madrid's 5-1 rout of Osasuna at the Reyno de Navarra on Saturday.
Benzema opened the scoring after only seven minutes with a goal of such outstanding beauty that it would have been forever imprinted on the memories of those present to witness it.
Cristiano Ronaldo took possession of the ball on the left wing and toyed with Osasuna for all of 10 seconds, pulling out tricks and stepovers as he waited to dart past his marker and clip a cross to the far post.
The ball hung in the air, allowing Benzema to set himself up before showing excellent technique to unleash an unstoppable volley into the opposite top corner from a tight angle.
"We converted the first opportunity with a goal from another world," Madrid coach José Mourinho told a press conference.
